Murphy’s Haystacks, a distance of 150 Kims South of Ceduna heading towards Port Lincoln . Murphy’s Haystacks are ancient, wind-worn pillars and boulders of pink granite estimated to be over 1,500 million years old. Set in the middle of a wheat field and surrounded by mallee scrub.
The farmer, Denise welcomes campers on site for $10.00 a night, with no restriction on the period of your stay. We only stayed one night. There are toilets on site, no showers, and covered tables and chairs.
Access is via a sealed road.
The vista is spectacular, we sat and watched the sun go down, so very peaceful.
Cheers Mel and Chris
