Watching sunset at The Pinnacles, very magic landscape, not many people about, the weather was very pleasant, even though it was still February.

We found a great panoramic spot looking west, over the sunset, and enjoyed biscuits and cheese……very civilised indeed!!!

The formations within The Pinnacles are huge limestone pillars that rise from a stark landscape of yellow sand to form one of Australia’s most intriguing landscapes. These varied shaped pillars can rise to 3.5 meters high.

We accessed the Park with a 4×4 vehicle, but would have been comfortable in a 2 x wheel drive, caravans are not permitted

The staff at the interpretive centre were lovely and friendly, and full of interesting information.

What a magic spot!
